Itinerant

15 June 2024

The roaming shop does not stand still. It moves according to the frequency of impossible dreams, offering pre-paid possibilities; from single-day solutions of positivity to month-long pills for living sustainably.

In other words; hope.

The roaming shop is unmanned. One connects via a tube linked to everyone’s CommonPort. Solutions are offered based on one’s average salary. If someone is unable to pay, they wait in queue while a remote needs-based assessment is undertaken.

Sometimes, a Dark dream is generated, and while these are not strictly illegal, the police are automatically notified to see how the dream will develop in reality.

Estate Frequencies

Estate Frequencies returns on 1 July with brand new episodes. This time around, we turn our eyes to Yishun, a housing estate that has an… interesting reputation.

The team has developed two different walks for Yishun. The first one is Chong Pang & Chye Kay, written and narrated by Marc. Visuals by Nicole Soh and original music and soundscaping by Eugene Soh of Saturn Sound Studios.

Over two episodes, walk through Chong Pang City and discover the old village of Chye Kay that once used to be there.

WEAVE: A Multidisciplinary Playground

A goodbye, a carrying-on, a celebration of art. WEAVE is all of these things. Pulling together a range of artists from different disciplines, the show is a recognition of Marc Nair’s deep interest in weaving poetry with other genres of art, creating work that is layered, dialogic and collaborative.
