Songkhla may not always play host to hordes of tourist, tucked away as it is on the coast about an hour’s ride from Hat Yai. And yet, that’s a good thing. Restaurants aren’t heaving, the street murals are accessible and the whole town carries the vibe of a sleepy port that has seen busier days. It’s certainly worth a day or two.
